Rwanda and Tanzania Review Bilateral Cooperation

DAR ES SALAAM, Tanzania, July 26, 2026 - Foreign Minister Olivier Nduhungirehe met Tanzania’s Foreign Minister Mahmoud Thabit Kombo to review ways of strengthening bilateral relations.

Rwanda’s delegation included Gisa Teta, head of Africa at the Foreign Ministry, and Ambassador Gen.

The discussions took place against the backdrop of President Kagame’s May visit to Tanzania and President Samia Suluhu Hassan’s subsequent Kigali visit, with trade, transport, investment and East African Community cooperation remaining central areas of engagement.
