MONUSCO Hands Over Modern Building to Ruwenzori Sector in Beni

Beni, North Kivu, July 31, 2026 - MONUSCO provided a modern building to the Ruwenzori sector administration in Beni Territory, presented as support to local governance and stability efforts in an ADF-affected zone.

Infrastructure hand-overs form part of the mission’s stabilisation footprint alongside military and civilian protection tasks.

This detail was included in the mid-to-late July DRC briefing.
