Kinshasa, July 29, 2026 - The C64 coalition rejected the Constitutional Court’s clearance of the referendum organisation law as null and void, accusing the court of “judicial rebellion” and complicity in what it called a plot against constitutional order.
Ensemble secretary-general Dieudonné Bolengetenge read a joint declaration saying the ruling opens the way to Balkanisation and exposes those involved to high-treason sanctions under Congolese law.
