Rwanda Receives 108 Returnees at Rusizi Border
RUSIZI, Rwanda, July 22, 2026 - Rwanda received 108 returnees from the Democratic Republic of Congo through the Rusizi I border, including 11 men, 27 women and 70 children.
RUSIZI, Rwanda, July 22, 2026 - Rwanda received 108 returnees from the Democratic Republic of Congo through the Rusizi I border, including 11 men, 27 women and 70 children.
Officials said the group included people who had spent more than 32 years in the DRC.
District authorities said returnees would receive health assistance, support to reunite with families and school enrolment for children.
