National Health Centre Showcases AI-Enabled Data Systems
KIGALI, Rwanda, July 21, 2026 - Officials demonstrated Rwanda’s National Health Information Center to Bill Gates, outlining how integrated health data supports faster services, emergency deployment and epidemic monitoring.
KIGALI, Rwanda, July 21, 2026 - Officials demonstrated Rwanda’s National Health Information Center to Bill Gates, outlining how integrated health data supports faster services, emergency deployment and epidemic monitoring.
Health Minister Nsanzimana and ICT and Innovation Minister Paula Ingabire said the centre, launched last year, consolidates nationwide data and will expand early-warning capacity with Gates Foundation support.
Gates has been in Rwanda since July 20 to review foundation-supported health programmes.
